Who are we?
In our newly refurbished store in Stoke Newington, you can find over 250 medicinal herbs and tinctures and culinary herbs, clays and superfoods to boost your immune system and for your overall wellbeing.
We offer a great variety of plant-based alternatives to meat and fish such as tofu, soya, tempeh, hemp, flaxseed and much more. We cannot be considered a vegan shop because we do sell raw honey and Manuka honey as we strongly believe in their power. We also have bee pollen and royal jelly, but our supplements remain vegan (with little vegetarian options for creams). We also sell loose foods and packed food items, health and body care products, uk products including local therapeutic ointments and creams, household items, refill of soaps and cleaning products, cosmetics, smudges and incenses with burners, carrier oils, essential oils.
Bring along your jars/containers as we offer loose grains, nuts, dried fruits and refills:
- Grains/ pulses: rice, pasta, buckwheat, tricolour quinoa, white quinoa, red split lentils, chickpeas, porridge oats, muesli, jumbo oats, gluten free oats, millet
- Seeds: sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, golden linseeds, sesame seeds
- Dried fruits/nuts: figs, dates, desiccated coconut, golden berries, pistachio, walnuts, cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, bitter apricot kernels

About our Store:
Food For All is a unique store that has served the people of Hackney for over 40 years and are committed to assisting the local community to achieve optimum health and wellbeing through natural means. The store is renowned for it’s unique community atmosphere and you'll often find several locals having a passionate conversation while shopping. Our staff is young, passionate and motivated, with a team herbalists and naturopaths (and an acupuncturist, an hypnotherapist and a Reiki practitioner). For a 360-degrees approach.
In 1975 Govinda and Meeta Lovage had an aim to offer a variety of nutritional foods such as grains, pulses and dried fruits that were bought in bulk and packed on the premises. In time it grew to stock a wider and increasingly diverse range of health foods including supplements, cosmetics, household products, herbs, oils, clays, super powders and tinctures - currently stocking more than two thousand lines.
